The JenUp podcast is hosted by Jenny Tomei who is a qualified Nutritional Therapist, Eating Disorder Coach and Personal Trainer. In this podcast series Jenny has different guests on the show who kindly share their own recovery stories from their eating disorders, and exercise addictions. She also has various experts in the field of eating disorders, nutrition, and sports nutrition to discuss the latest research within eating disorders.

I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapist with a NCFED Diploma In Practitioner Skills For Eating Disorders (BA Hons, DipCNM, ANP). I have also been working in the fitness industry for over 8 years, with a wide range of different clients.

A Focus On Gut Health

Healthy gut bacteria help you digest food, protect against pathogens such as viruses, provide essential nutrients, enzymes and hormones, manage your metabolism, train your immune system. However they can only do all this if your microbiome is in balance. If it’s not, then digestive issues, (IBS) lethargy, low mood, poor immunity and weight gain can result.

A Focus on Technique

No two clients have the same limb lengths or ranges of motion. Everyone has a different squat techniques. People don’t learn in the same fashion, respond the same way to a given cue, or perceive exercise intensity in the same way. I always adjust my coaching towards the client’s need, as everyone learns differently

Absolutely! Online sessions can be carried out within the comfort of your own home, or I can travel to you if you’re local.

Personal Training sessions will give you accountability, you’ll never be bored as my sessions contain a lot of variety. I always provide consistent support, advice and motivation throughout your fitness journey.

I am a qualified Pre and Post Natal trainer, and I can design sessions specifically around each trimester.

The personal training sessions are one hour each.
