PERSONAL TRAINING IN BROMLEY & SURROUNDING AREAS

HI, MY NAME IS JENNY TOMEI AND I’M A QUALIFIED NUTRITIONAL THERAPIST,  PERSONAL TRAINER AND EATING DISORDER COACH COVERING BROMLEY & SURROUNDING AREAS

I love encouraging my clients to be confident, by taking the time to listen, being supportive, and reassuring them that they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it.

If you need the motivation to achieve your goals, then you’ve come to the right trainer!

I’ve been a personal trainer for over 10 years now, and a Nutritional Therapist and Eating Disorder Coach for 3 years. Clients come to me because of my empathic approach to fitness and nutrition.

I believe in a healthy balanced approach to nutrition and exercise, and I certainly do not promote any form of dieting. I teach my clients how to establish a healthy relationship with food, by incorporating mindful eating techniques.

“Jenny helped me with my fear of food, as my bulimia was always triggered by my under-eating and overtraining. I’ve had an eating disorder since I was 16 years old (now 50 years old) starting with anorexia for many years that went into bulimia. Jenny help me understand the nutritional value of food and made me feel safe to try new foods. I will continue to use the tools that Jenny taught me and so far I am free of my bulimia. But I know if I have a setback in the future I know I have Jenny in my corner and that is a lovely feeling to have, someone I trust and respect. ”

Maureen

“I firmly believe without Jenny’s assistance i wouldn’t have been on the path to healthy weight loss and fitness. She takes all of her client’s issues personally and will regularly check up with you as she takes great pride in helping people. Jenny works without gimmicks and quick fix methods and will really change the way you view nutrition without denying yourself taste and enjoyment with food and drink.”

What makes me different?

Compassion and Caring

I genuinely care about my clients, and I always go the extra mile to help them. I’ve been told that I radiate a positive energy, as I always display generosity, kindness, empathy and enthusiasm in everything that I do!

Providing Confidence To Women and Girls

There are pressures on women to look good, and the cultural ideal is now unrealistically thin. The self worth of women is based on external attractiveness, possibly for evolutionary reasons, and looking slim represents youth as well as beauty. You are more than your looks! I enjoy being able to bring out the best in people, so they can go on to achieving their goals.

A Focus on Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine determines how and why illness occur, and restores health by addressing the root causes of disease for each individual. The Functional Medicine model is an individualized, patient-centred, science-based approach that empowers patients, and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. I always take this into account when addressing clients overall wellness.

Expertise and Quals

I am a Qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapist with a NCFED Diploma In Practitioner Skills For Eating Disorders (BA Hons, DipCNM, ANP). I have also been working in the fitness industry for over 8 years, with a wide range of different clients.

A Focus On Gut Health

Healthy gut bacteria help you digest food, protect against pathogens such as viruses, provide essential nutrients, enzymes and hormones, manage your metabolism, train your immune system. However they can only do all this if your microbiome is in balance. If it’s not, then digestive issues, (IBS) lethargy, low mood, poor immunity and weight gain can result.

A Focus on Technique

No two clients have the same limb lengths or ranges of motion. Everyone has a different squat techniques. People don’t learn in the same fashion, respond the same way to a given cue, or perceive exercise intensity in the same way. I always adjust my coaching towards the client’s need, as everyone learns differently
